The ANDREAS STUDIOS and APARTMENTS is a modern, luxury complex ideal for couples and groups who are looking for a small and friendly location to spend a relaxing holiday. All the accommodation is of a first class standard, being spotlessly clean and with a daily room service. There is air conditioning and deposit boxes in all rooms available for a small rental charge.

Situated at the top of Skala village the accommodation is set in pine trees and olive groves with fantastic views across the Ionian Sea to Zakinthos and offers the most tranquil of surroundings to spend the day by the large pool and bar area where cold drinks and snacks are always available.  In the late afternoon the bar enjoys a happy hour before closing for a brief period when most guests have their dinners either in their rooms or more usually in the many quality restaurants and "Taverna's" that Skala has to offer. Once a week Elisabeth and her staff, together with many of her friends organise a barbecue for guests, there are great Greek dishes to taste and savour and at some time the music turns to Greek dancing and everybody is encouraged to join in. Late evenings are when you can find most guests returning to the bar to chat and swap stories of excursions and days enjoying this most beautiful of all the Greek islands.

Denis and Elisabeth enjoy meeting new guests and introducing them to the many long standing guests who return every year and consider the Andreas to be their home from home

The mountains behind SKALA are within a few minutes drive or a brisk walk for the more energetic, here can be found the ruins of OLD SKALA which are well worth a look at. The views from this high point are truly breathtaking and on a clear day mainland Greece is very visible.

The village of SKALA is a moderate sized resort which enjoys a bustling main street where everybody can be seen taking the evening air and enjoying a drink at one of the many bars, the side streets offer the chance to explore and discover small shops and boutiques along with many family run taverna's where locals can be seen playing cards or Backgammon, they will be only too glad to have a game with you.

The very long beach in SKALA is ideal for families and the water is warm and inviting, beds and umbrellas are always laid out throughout the season and are available for a small charge.

There is a cash machine at the bottom of the High Street but if you want banking facilities they can be found in POROS which is 8 miles away, from here you can also take a ferry trip to the mainland which is just one and a half hours away.

ARGOSTOLI and the airport are 20 miles away and easily reached by taxi although a very nice way to enjoy the trip is to take the local bus and see more of the villages on the way. ARGOSTOLI has many modern shops and a typically Greek market that hugs the harbour side. Sometimes you may even see dolphins or turtles swimming close to the harbour side.
